St Vincent’s Medical Registrar Fulbright Scholar – Dr Nikki Bart
By admin / 14 January, 2020
Dr Nikki Bart is famous in some elite circles. She held the record for the youngest person to climb every summit in the world (with her mum!) while she was completing medical school at St Vincent’s. Awarded a Monash Scholarship, she completed a doctorate at Oxford in hypoxia inducible-factors (HIF) before completing her registrar training at St Vincent’s. Recently working in her first role as a consultant in the Heart Failure team, Dr Bart has just been awarded a Senior Fulbright Scholarship to work at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. She is one of our mentors for young registrars approaching a balanced, but high achieving medical career.
